Things To Do

Here are some places we would highly recommend you take the time to visit if your stay allots for some leisure activities. Manitou Springs and the Broadmoor are very important places for our relationship. This is only a small list of the countless things there are to explore in the Colorado Springs area.

Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center

1805 North 30th Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80904

If you're from out of state, Garden of the Gods is a beautiful, free park that you can drive through and walk around with gorgeous views of red rock formations.

Manitou Springs

Manitou Springs, CO 80829

Manitou Springs is a small, cutesy little town with one main street. There's lots of local shops, a nice creek, arcade, and a bunch of other things to take up 3-4 hours easily. We went here for part of our first date that lasted 12 hours, walking up and down the main street.

Pikes Peak

CO

Pikes Peak is the most famous mountain in Colorado. It's at an elevation of 14,000 feet. You are able to drive all the way to the summit where there are amazing views spanning hundreds of miles on a clear day and a great little gift shop to remember the experience.

Broadmoor

Colorado Springs, CO 80906

This is where Kevin proposed to Abigail over the New Year. It is a lovely location for photos and walking around. This 5-star hotel has a beautiful lake to walk around, valet parking in the rear, and is known in Colorado for its famous golf courses.
