It all started at the Alexan Lower Greenville in Dallas, TX, where we were both neighbors without knowing it. A month before Kelsey was set to move out, fate (with a little help from our dogs, Billy and Luke) brought us together at the apartment dog park. What began as small talk while the pups played quickly turned into something more meaningful. Even after Kelsey moved, we kept up with each other online. Eventually, Hugh suggested grabbing drinks, and that first date set the foundation for everything that followed. A year and a half later, Hugh officially moved into Kelsey’s townhome, and together we began our adventure as a blended little family—two humans, two dogs, and a lot of love. On January 24th, atop the rooftop of the Adolphus Hotel, Hugh asked Kelsey the easiest question she’s ever answered. And now, here we are, excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you.
