Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Our RSVP form is now live and we would love your RSVP as soon as you know for sure whether you are able to attend in order to help with our planning process. If you RSVP before April 30th, 2023 we will enter you in a draw for a bottle of whiskey ;) Please RSVP by 12 May 2023 at the latest in order to help us confirm our catering numbers.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! The 'Travel' tab above lists several of our favourite local hotels in a range of budget options. We are happy to help you with any additional travel & accommodation questions you have. Please email us (hkwedding2023@gmail.com) and we will set up a time to talk through your plans!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the property has ample parking. Parking is available for guests arriving by car. Feel free to leave your car overnight - Please don't drink and drive. Local taxis are available, please book well in advance. You can also drive there and take the shuttle home if you wish, but please do let us know if you plan to do that advance so we can make sure there are enough seats for everyone.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Our shuttle busses will leave from Fishers Hotel, Pitlochry at 1:00 pm & North Car Park, Dunkeld at 1:30 pm and will leave Cardney at 10:00 pm, 11:00 pm and 12:00 am, returning to Dunkeld and Pitlochry. Please indicate on your RSVP form if you intend to catch the shuttle and we will be in touch with you directly with further details.

I have a food allergy or dietary requirement, will there be options available for me?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate your dietary restriction/allergy on your RSVP form and which member of your party it pertains to. Our caterer will provide a meal option for you and all sharing options will be labeled.

I have accessibility requirements, how do I ensure I am not experiencing barriers or issues?

Answer

The venue is equipped with disabled access and facilities. Should you like more details or have any accessibility requirements you would like us to be aware of, please let us know via your RSVP form or by email (hkwedding2023@gmail.com).

Are children welcome?

Answer

Your young children are welcome and important to us as they help make the day special. Please let us know in the RSVP form the names an ages of your children and how we can make them (and you) comfortable.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have not been allocated a guest on your invitation, please connect with us about this before inviting a guest.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear clothes. Recommended "dress code": Garden Party Attire (e.g., Sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, kilts etc.). Please bring weather appropriate options (I.e., waterproof jacket & shoes, umbrellas, etc.).

Can guests bring a caravan or camper or camp?

Answer

Yes guests are welcome to bring a caravan or camper van. There is plenty of parking space however no hook up or facilities. Please let us know in advance if you intend to bring a camper so we can ensure there is adequate space. As there are no external washroom facilities, we are not encouraging folks to camp on the property. If you wish to camp at Cardney the night of the wedding please connect with us and we will look into it (but cannot make any guarantees).
