In late May of 2020, Maggie's friends made her an online dating account, without her knowing. They spent the night messaging different people, all of this just for fun. After finding out what they were up to, she gave them until the end of the night to delete the account, and informed them that she would not be going on a date with any of them. At the end of the night they said they found the cutest, sweetest guy named Jeremy and she had a date on Wednesday evening. At first, she wasn't sure about it. After texting for a day, she was still a little skeptical, but decided to go on the date. After that date in May, they were inseparable. On June 13, 2020 Jeremy made the decision to ask Maggie to be his girlfriend. They spent the summer together, and soon the time came to go back to school. They loaded all of Jeremy's things up and took him back to Knoxville. As Maggie was getting ready to leave that weekend, Jeremy told her he loved her for the first time. They took their first trip to Chattanooga that weekend after that, and if you know anything about them, you have heard the story about the infamous tandem bike ride. That Saturday might have landed Jeremy in the ER with a broken wrist and some stitches, but if you ask either one of them, it is one of their favorite and the most perfect weekend to this date. They continued long distance, filled with FaceTime calls, and trips to Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, and Knoxville, until Maggie and Jeremy both moved to Chattanooga. Jeremy moved in January of 2022, and Maggie followed the following July. They continued their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend until February 4, 2023. Thats when Jeremy used the same tandem bike mentioned before to ask her to be his wife. She obviously said YES, and they spent the day with family and friends. They have since, hit the ground running planning their big day, and cannot wait to spend it with all of you.
