Activities

If you're from out of town, we really encourage you to make the most out of a trip to our coast! Planning to be in town for a few days? There are tons of things to do and see – and of course, we wanted to share our favorites with you. For the more adventurous, don't forget we're only about two hours away from Los Angeles. Theme parks like Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Legoland are even closer!

San Diego Zoo

2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101

Located just minutes from downtown San Diego, our zoo has a lot to offer! They are highly regarded for their global conservation work and have a ton of different species to see. Make sure to bring good shoes for walking if you're trying to see the whole park in one day!

An's Dry Cleaning

3017 Adams Avenue, San Diego, CA 92116

Don't let the name fool you - this is a gelato shop! Actually, it's been named the #1 gelato shop in America by USA Today two years in a row. If you happen to drive past when the line isn't wrapped around the corner into the alley, it's definitely worth a stop.

Balboa Park

Park Boulevard, San Diego (follow the signs)

Balboa Park contains 17 museums, as well as various gardens, arts and international culture associations, and the zoo. (We thought the zoo deserved its own entry, though.) It would take days to get through everything available here, and there truly is something for everyone.

The Beach

Just keep driving west. You'll get there.

San Diego is famous for its beaches and bays! April here typically has mild, beautiful weather in the high 60s and low 70s. It's also before "May Gray" and "June Gloom" hit, so you should be able to enjoy a lot of sunshine on any of our beautiful beaches!
