FAQs

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We’re excited to use the provided on-site lodging at La Montaña! Guests who choose to stay here can enjoy convenience and beautiful surroundings. Please note that room and meal costs will be covered by guests, so plan accordingly.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both taking place at La Montaña Christian Camps

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Costa Rica’s mountain setting is beautiful and casual-elegant. We recommend dressy-casual to semi-formal attire that’s comfortable for outdoor terrain. For All Guests: • Lightweight fabrics are ideal — the weather can be warm and breezy • Comfortable shoes are encouraged (terrain may be uneven) • Layers are great — evenings can be cooler in the mountains

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

As our wedding takes place in Costa Rica, we kindly ask that gifts be in the form of cash. Your generosity will help us as we begin our marriage together, and we are deeply grateful for your love and support.

Question

Do we need a passport?

Answer

Yes, all guests traveling internationally to Costa Rica will need a valid passport. Make sure it is valid for at least six months after your travel dates.

Question

What is the weather like in May?

Answer

May is warm and tropical, with occasional rain showers. Light, breathable clothing is recommended, along with a rain jacket or umbrella just in case.

Question

Can we explore the area before/after the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! Costa Rica has beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and trails. Driving yourself gives the flexibility to explore at your own pace.
