Our Story...Shortened!

BBQs, Am I Right?!

Johnny is a close friend of Miriam's older brother, Nate. Johnny was looking out for Miriam even before they started dating. If Johnny saw Miriam out and about he made sure she was safe getting to her car. He was always kind and goofy and could always make Miriam laugh. One day, at Nate's house, he made beef ribs...those beef ribs were so incredibly delicious Miriam asked if he could make them again the next week while she would be house-sitting for her brother. Johnny agreed and made some AWESOME bbq beef ribs, but they were just a bonus to the great conversation that lasted for hours! Miriam was actually sick at the time and Johnny brought her medicine. A few days later, and healthy again, Miriam brought Johnny one of her famous omelets and keto pecan pie and shortly after Johnny made her his girlfriend!

The Proposal

4/6/2019

Chattanooga was the place we decided to go for our first anniversary! Awesome scenery, coffee shops, art, coffee shops, aquarium and museums, coffee shops! SO, we took ourselves a long weekend and headed up to Tennessee! The night before our anniversary, we went on a sunset cruise on the Southern Belle River Boat. We met some new friends, watched some wildlife, and had a great time enjoying the peaceful scenery. I asked Johnny to take a picture of me on the rail of the boat and I then wanted to take one of him. He said he needed to fix his shoe and I, completely oblivious, said "okay"! The next thing I knew he was on one knee and had an open box in his hand. Time stopped, I heard nothing and saw nothing except him! Yes, yes, yes!
