Yes, formal attire is encouraged. Even though our wedding is near the beach, no hawaiian shirts please.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow our guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a block of rooms available at the Grand Galvez. To book at the Galvez using our special rate, please use the link found in the travel tab. We also recommend staying near or at Pointe West properties. Pointe West rents condos, cottages, and beach houses that can be found on Airbnb, Vrbo, etc. Pointe West has a beachside as well as a bayside. The bayside rentals are slightly cheaper, but are not far from the beach.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, for the guests staying at or near Pointe West, a shuttle service will be provided to and from the wedding. This service will be provided the day of the wedding and the day before. For our guests staying at the Galvez, the shuttle will be available to take people to and from the Welcome Party.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, the Welcome Party on September 25, 2026. All are welcome and encouraged to join. The party will start at 1 pm at the Hudson Beach House located at 25914 Flamingo Dr. Galveston, TX

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside on the front lawn of the Grand Galvez. The cocktail hour and reception will be inside with AC!
