Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that all RSVPs are submitted by May 2nd so we are able to get the correct food ordered.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:30pm please be here by 3:00pm at the latest so everyone is settled in by the start of the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal, the ceremony will be outside on the grass and the reception will be in a pavilion cooled by fans please dress accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please do not bring anyone that isn't accounted for via the invites.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The wedding will be located on a golf course there is parking, but it is first come first serve so please plan accordingly.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There is a question on the RSVP in regards to food allergies/restrictions, we will do our best to accommodate any request. As for the littles if you know they will not eat what is provided through the regular menu please let us know, they do have a separate kids menu that we can order from day of.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through this website you can get to our direct page via the Registry tab. In lieu of physical gifts we are asking for contributions towards our honeymoon fund, experiences, and items from the heart. Anything you gift is greatly appreciated.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcomed We ask that you please keep them seated and quiet as possible during the ceremony. Once in the pavilion for the reception there will be a table specifically for the kids. There will be small trinkets and coloring supplies to help occupy them.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The closest hotel is the AmericInn in Oswego its practically within walking distance. The next closest is the Best Western in Oswego. Both are listed under the travel tabs. Ubers are usually available in our area if you do not have a rental car, but if you are unable to get one please let the bride or groom know and we will try and coordinate with other guest to get you here on time.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Currently there are no plans around the wedding although we are open to making plans with friends and family the night before the wedding or the day after.

How did the bride and groom meet?

Answer

For those of you that don't know they met at work. Jake was filling in for a driver and Deanna was the sales rep for the same accounts. Deanna was told by a great friend of theirs to crack a joke on Jake by saying "what's up snake?" They saw one another often in the coming months at the same account and really hit it off.

Where was the bride and grooms first date?

Answer

The first date was unique, it started off as what was supposed to be just getting coffee. About a week before it turned into coffee and then going to a Blackhawks game. The two have been inseparable since.

Answer

The reception ends at 9pm.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask that only the photographer and the person taking the video do so during the ceremony. We ask that all phones are put away during that time. Afterwards you can take as many photos as you'd like.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that none of our guest post photos of our wedding until we have had the chance to do so.

Answer

We will not, but we are going to record the entire thing to share with any friends and family that were not able to attend.

Rather than trying to text all the photos you wish to share with us we ask that you scan one of the QR codes available around the reception and upload them.
