Hudson and Caroline first met when they were in the eighth grade when Hudson moved to ACA. Just kids, they would have no clue what God had in store for them. Caroline's first memory of Hudson is when she looked up one day to discover him in her math class. Even though he had been there the whole time, she remembers wondering who in the world "the kid on the other side of the room" was. Hudson remembers Caroline a little differently. He says on the first day of school, she grabbed his hand and drug him across the room during a "get to know you" game. Right then, he says, he fell for her. He knew he was a goner from the start. They remained close friends all the way through middle and high school, going to events, games, dances, and even Prom together. Everyone around them wondered if they were together, and when they learned they weren't, they wondered why! Anyone could see the two were perfect together, except for them. It wasn't until halfway through their freshman year of college at The University of Alabama that the two wised-up and realized that the person they were looking for was right in front of them the whole time! Everyone around them had one thing to say: "I told you so!" Hudson proposed in the fall of 2025 after having been with Caroline for three and a half years. Caroline could not have been happier, and says she knew from the start that they were meant to be. The rest, as they say, is history. The two have been together now for over four years, and their friendship spans almost 10. They are looking forward to the next step in their story, and the beginning of forever, in August 2026. ·
