We went to the same high school, but Adam was two years older than me. My brother played baseball with Adam, and our dads coached together, so our families knew each other from way back. My brother, Matt, and Adam both went to Robert Morris University and played hockey together. We became friends in the summer of 2010 and we started hanging out. Two years later, I needed some help with an online accounting class. Adam helped me get through the class and then asked me out in August. ❤️

Fast forward 6 years later, we were on vacation in Florida with his family. He told me we were getting family pictures at this spot that I had seen on Instagram and loved. His mom had hired a photographer for the pictures, but I thought nothing of it, just thought she wanted some nice family pictures. So the photographer started taking pictures of the individual couples, and then it was our turn to get some pictures. As I'm smiling for these pictures of the two of us, I hear people behind us. All of a sudden I turn and see all of his family as well as MY PARENTS behind us in the picture and then I turn back to him and he was down on his knee! I was shocked! He couldn't have pulled off a better proposal and it was perfect with my parents and his family there! 💗
