Flight
We recommend arriving on Friday night or Saturday to allow for some time to explore Chicago over the weekend. Our website has a list of things to do in the city. After enjoying the weekend, let’s celebrate the big day on Sunday afternoon. We suggest flying into O’Hare Airport, where you can take the Blue Line train or an Uber to your hotel, which is 17 miles from downtown Chicago. You can also fly into Midway Airport, where you can take the Orange Line train and closer to the downtown area.
Travel Note
Taking the train is the most recommended mode of transportation in Chicago. You can purchase a one-day pass for $5 and take unlimited rides. The train system provides access to popular attractions, our recommended hotels, and the ceremony and reception locations. Alternatively, you can take a bus or an Uber, but be aware that there may be traffic during peak hours.
