Visiting DC / Virginia for the first time? Here are a few fun places to visit for those staying the weekend.

Visiting DC monuments and memorials is a must. Sights to see include: the White House, Capitol Hill, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial and WWII Memorial. We highly recommend visiting the memorials at night as they light up the city.

A group of museums located on the national mall and throughout DC free of admission! A few of couple of our personal favorites include the Air and Space Museum and Natural History Museum.

Smithsonian museum tour

Wind down your day at some of DC's well known speakeasies. Our favorites are the Gibson and Nocturne. We highly recommend making reservations in advance if possible. Good luck finding the bars!
