Wedding Party

Robert Caliger

Groomsman

Rob has a heart for bettering people, even when he's burnt out and spread thin. His knowledge of doctrine, wine, beer, and philosophy (often mixed together with existentialist musings) make for engaging and LATE night conversations. I've learned the importance of sharing a beer or a cigar with a friend as well as the lost art of letting someone rant and ramble when they need to.

Jonathan Lujan

Groomsman

This poor guy was my roommate at the "10th Street House" while he was single, dating, and then engaged to his now wife Lisa. We've had plenty of late night shenanigans from climbing onto the roof our house to smoke cigars and drink scotch to trolling people while playing Halo: Reach, he even got me banned from online gaming for a solid 90 days... He's one of the few people I've maintained an active friendship with since those days and I wouldn't have it any other way. We've had each other's backs over the years and have called each other out over the stupidest stuff. Who better than Jon the TKLR (short for team killer) to be the over zealous hype man that he was born to be, and what kind of friend would I be if I didn't let him hype up the wedding party.

Ryan Smith

Groomsman

If there was a legitimate addiction to reading, this guy would have it. His knowledge of biblical history, church history, doctrine, and star wars is almost comical. He's coined the term "greek out" when he preaches, but the greatest trait a teacher can have is their ability to state things in laymen's terms without watering down the message or content. He and his wife Erin have been amazingly helpful with helping me grow in my relationship with Sarah. Their daughter Emma will steal your cookies while you're watching and apologize AFTER she starts eating it. One of the only glaring drawbacks is that he loved Star Wars: The Last Jedi...

Seth Wildschut

Groomsman

Pastor, mentor, friend... I've known Seth for about a decade and is easily one of the most genuine men I've met and his heart for those under his care is inspiring. He's helped build up confidence in myself and has challenged me to think not only long term and big picture but to see the world beyond myself. His charisma goes to 11, he's Dutch, and will fight you for a good pie.

Ruey Lin

Bridesmaid

Ruey is creative, compassionate and patient. I first met Ruey through BSF - Bible Study Fellowship, where we were paired up together to co-lead a class full of 5-6 year old kiddos. I love that our friendship has grown since then and that we get to be in a group together this year. One of my favorite things is our Poke dates, where we can get together and chat. I appreciate that she has been able to help me piece together my scattered thoughts when I get overwhelmed with life, and focus me back to God and prayer. She's one of my favorite people!

Catherine Royce

Bridesmaid

Cat is sweet, has a kind heart, and my partner in crime. Cat has been my best friend since middle school, it also helped that she lived in the same neighborhood. We have seen each other at our worst and at our best. She's one of the few people that I have stayed in contacted since moving away from Elko. We have always supported each other, by listening and praying for each other. She was there for all my, "why am I single!" angst, so I'm excited for her to be by my side on Troy and my wedding day. She's one of my favorite people!

Ashley Wiggins

Bridesmaid

Ashley is feisty, adventurous and honest. When I first met her, it was instant friends, even though I had a hard time understanding her at first. ;D She welcomed me into her family. She pushes me out of my comfort zone. She's always willing to try new things and is always willing to drag me along with her. I have many great experiences with Ashley, from softball to talking about Jesus at the spa. There's was no doubt that I would want her to be there with me on such a momentous day of my life. She is one of my favorite people!

Mikayla Deardorff

Bridesmaid

I know I keep saying this, but KayKay is my favorite person. She's my Meredith, I'm her Christina. God was doing something, when this crazy curly hair girl randomly asked if I needed a place to stay on her very first night at Community Group. I wasn't looking for a new place to live and was content with living by myself, until later that week I found out my landlord was selling my place. We became roommates and for two years we both grew to appreciate each other and become very close friends. When she moved to CT it was the saddest day for me. When I found out she was going to come to the wedding no matter what, I had to have her as a bridesmaid!
