Our Story
~The Near Misses & New Beginnings~
For 3 years, we lived parallel lives in Durham, North Carolina yet our paths never actually crossed. It took a move halfway across the country to Austin for the stars to finally align. We officially met in 2021, & though life brought its share of twists & turns, we always found our way back to one another.
~The Proposal~
In November 2024, we took a trip to San Francisco that changed everything. On a quiet Friday morning, we headed out to the redwoods of Muir Woods. Inspired by the park’s invitation for deep contemplation, we made our way to Bridge #4. It was there surrounded by the stillness of the forest, that David asked & Abby said yes!
~The Road to Asheville~
Now, the countdown is on! We’re drawn to the " grandmother energy" of Asheville—a place that feels both ancient & deeply comforting. We can’t wait to gather with our closest loved ones in the mountains of North Carolina to celebrate our commitment & the life we’re building together.
