Yes! Our registry is a cash fund located under the Registry tab. Instead of traditional gifts, we’re asking for contributions to help cover the cost of the cabin where we’ll all be staying together. It’s set up through Venmo, but if you don’t have Venmo, you can give the money directly to Taylor or James—just send us a text or call! Every contribution, big or small, goes directly toward making this shared experience amazing.
Please arrive at Ancient Lore Village by 5:00 PM. Once there, Someone will guide you to where you need to park and then where to wait in the parking lot. You will be carted from the parking lot to the ceremony site at Woodland Terrace. The wedding will begin promptly at 5:30 PM, so please be seated by 5:25 PM. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Yes! Only for the wedding! Our dress code is semi-formal in spring and summer colors—please AVOID Brown, Black, Red, and White. • Ladies: Dresses, dressy pantsuits, or elegant separates. Since the wedding will be outdoors with some walking involved, we don’t recommend heels. The ceremony site itself has chunky mulch and will not be fun to walk in with heels. • Gentlemen: Boots and jeans are welcome, or you can opt for slacks, blazers, dress shirts, or polos—no suits needed! The wedding party will be wearing cowboy boots, but feel free to wear whatever you’re most comfortable in. We want you to look great and also feel at ease while celebrating with us!
Only those who have RSVP’d are welcome to attend. If your date’s name is on the invitation and they have been included in your RSVP, then they are all set to join us! Thank you for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Yes! You can park in the Ancient Lore Village parking lot.
*Upon arrival at Ancient Lore Village, guests will be guided to where they will park then transported by cart to the ceremony site and seated. *James and I will have a rented van for the wedding party to get to the venue from the cabin, as the wedding party will need to arrive hours in advance. All other guests will need to drive themselves to the wedding. Spouses of the wedding party are welcome to carpool with either the bride’s or groom’s family. After the wedding, we’ll provide transportation for the wedding party, their spouses and a few more guest to the cabin. ~We will also have the van available for Family Fun Day, so the wedding party and their spouses can ride together, helping to limit the number of vehicles heading to Pigeon Forge. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
Yes! We’ve reserved an hour for archery and axe throwing during the wedding celebration. It’s a fun way to relax and enjoy some friendly competition while we celebrate together. Feel free to join in the fun—whether you’re a pro or just want to try something new!
We’re asking that everyone who plans on eating with us help contribute to the grocery list. We’ll be heading to the store after our powwow to grab everything we need for the week. September 7th – Welcome to the Cabin! We’ll kick things off with a group nesting powwow to go over cabin rules and the week’s plans. We’ll be having pizza that evening during our gathering. September 8th Breakfast is still to be determined, but we’ll make sure it’s delicious! For linner (late lunch/early dinner), we’ll be grilling up hamburgers and hotdogs. We will be getting beyond/ impossible options for our vegetarian friends! September 9th – Wedding Day! We’ll have a small breakfast in the morning, but we won’t be cooking anything else at the cabin for the rest of the day. You’re more than welcome to grab or bring anything else you’d like for yourself. The wedding party will have snack trays at the venue since we’ll be heading there early. Dinner will be served at the wedding that evening! September 10th – Family Fun Day We’ll be out exploring the Smoky Mountains, so we’ll be having linner out on the town! Be prepared for a fun day and a restaurant stop (location TBD). Bring a little spending money and an appetite! More meal details for the rest of the week will be shared soon!
