FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Saturday, April 18, 2026. We kindly ask guests to RSVP by this date in order to finalize our seating and catering counts. We have a limited capacity for seating and cannot guarantee a table or a meal to anyone who doesn't RSVP by this date.

Question

Where is the best place to stay for out-of-town guests?

Answer

Our wedding location is about 10 miles away from the nearest hotel, so there is not a one-size-fits-all solution for guests staying overnight. There are several home rentals in the area and surrounding areas, and far more lodging options if you want to stay further from the venue. For this reason, we have not booked a hotel block for our guests since we have already heard from several of you that you are seeking out other options for lodging.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony and airport?

Answer

Since most guests will be staying in different places, we will not be providing transportation to/from the wedding. Please plan accordingly. We highly recommend getting a rental car and/or coordinating with other guests. We apologize for any inconvenience, however, there will be a large volume of out-of-town guests, so we cannot accommodate for anyone.

Question

Can I bring a date/kids?

Answer

All invited guests for your party will be listed on the RSVP page. For those given a plus one, they will be listed as "guest" or by name. We please ask to be thoughtful with your plus one, such as long-term partners or someone who knows the bride/groom.

Question

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be held at the bride's family home, but reasonable accommodations are being made to make it feel like an official wedding venue. The ceremony will be outdoors and uncovered, but should last no more than 30 minutes. The reception will be mostly indoors with additional seating under tents. All seating areas will be covered, but be in an open-air setting, with heaters if needed. Due to the unpredictable Oregon spring weather, please dress or equip yourself accordingly as the event approaches. We will do our best to make sure guests are as comfortable as possible depending on the weather.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We envision our wedding being an elegant affair and we hope that guests will dress the part. We ask guests to dress in cocktail/semi-formal attire, such as formal dresses or jumpsuits for women and suits or button-up shirts with slacks for men. For more detail, see the "Schedule" page. Please note, you will be walking in grass and uneven surfaces. Wear whatever footwear you feel most comfortable in for this situation. Dress up to your level of comfort, however, we are hoping our wedding will be an excuse to dress up as much as possible. There is no set color palette for guests.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be hosting a cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony with light bites. Dinner will be served buffet-style, with an assortment of seasonal, local dishes, as well as some Vietnamese options. Dietary restrictions can be submitted on the RSVP page so we can order accordingly.

Question

What is the schedule for the wedding day?

Answer

An official schedule will be provided at the wedding, giving us time to finalize the details leading up to the big day. In the meantime, here is a general outline of what the day will look like: ~Guest Arrival & Ceremony ~Cocktail Hour ~Bride & Groom Announcement and Dances ~Dinner ~Cake Cutting and Dessert ~Dance Floor Opens The last scheduled event will conclude at 8:30pm, however, we plan to party for as long as guests want to stick around!

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

We have chosen not to "register" for specific gifts and instead kindly ask those who feel inclined to give cash instead. We feel blessed to have everything we need in our home, but are looking for more experiences to do together as a married couple. Our registry page includes funds you can contribute to directly on this site and we will have a card drop at the wedding as well.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There will be one parking area, which will be clearly marked with signs when you arrive. Additional details on parking are provided on the "Schedule" page. Please note, we want guests to be aware that all parking will be on the grass.
