John Wayne Airport (SNA)

Our wedding will take place in the beautiful and serene hills of Trabuco Canyon, a hidden gem in Orange County known for its rustic charm and natural beauty. For guests flying in, the most convenient airport is John Wayne Airport (SNA), located approximately 30 minutes from the venue. We highly recommend flying into SNA if possible—it’s the closest airport and will make your travel to the venue and surrounding area more convenient. Once you land, we suggest renting a car, as Trabuco Canyon is more suburban and having your own transportation will make it easier to explore, dine, and get around comfortably. Rideshare (Uber, Lyft) is doable though. Most recommended lodging options are about 10–15 minutes from the venue. We’re also planning to offer shuttle service on the day of the wedding to and from select hotels to make things even easier. More information to come!

Flight

Los Angeles Airport (LAX)

While John Wayne Airport (SNA) is the closest option, we understand some guests may find it more convenient to fly into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). LAX is approximately 60 to 90 minutes from Trabuco Canyon by car, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions. If you choose to fly into LAX, we recommend budgeting extra time for travel and renting a car to make the drive smoother and more comfortable. The route from LAX will take you through some of Southern California’s busiest freeways, but it’s also a scenic journey as you head south toward the quiet charm of Orange County.
