Matron of Honor
I met Grace in her freshman year at Boston University. I had just started a job with The Navigators there, which is a Christian organization. Grace was starting to come to our meetings and I asked if we could meet and I'm glad we did. That was the beginning of a great friendship. I always felt honored to be able to spend time with her and get to know such an amazing person! We share a common love for all things Asian given our heritage and many of our meetings are over good meals! I'm so excited for this next chapter for Grace and James. Hearing about him from day 1 it's so cool to see how things have unfolded and here they are! I hope and pray for the best for them and I look forward to seeing what the Lord will do in and through their marriage.

I'm Eddie, James's roommate from college. I met James freshman year. I don't remember much of our first interactions, but I do remember we talked about games. From there we became great friends. We ate a lot of Victoria's while watching a lot of cartoons and anime. We also did many late night longboarding sessions. However, my favorite memories of my friendship with James are the nights we spent just talking. Sometimes it was deep and sometimes stupid, but it was the best. I'm excited for James and Grace to get married and look forward to the awesome life you guys will live!

I met James during my freshman year of college during church. He really inspired me to start dancing by taking me to my very first workshop. Soon enough, I found myself dancing the next four years in college as his teammate. We've had a lot of ups and downs in our friendship, but he remained loyal, forgiving, and trustworthy, even after we graduated. Although I will never admit it to his face, I always have and still look up to him as a friend. I'm really happy that he and Grace can finally tie the knot and I'm excited for their future!

Grace & I became friends in middle school. We bonded over anime & K-pop at first, but as our friendship deepened, we also shared about our struggles with faith, friends, and family. One of my favorite memories with Grace is the night before she moved to Boston. We sat on the roof outside my bedroom and reminisced over high school memories and shared our fears and hopes about college. Grace has always been a wonderful listener, an insightful question-asker, and a loving friend. That night was one of many moments when I experienced all those things. I'm excited to see how they minister to others using the combined strength of their different gifts and for them to get to know the little day-to-day things about each other and through it, learn to love God & each other more deeply than before.

My name is Hee Soo, and I got to know James during his time in Seattle. We quickly grew closer nerding about music, spending unnecessarily long hours at church, and going to Applebee’s more times than we’ll ever admit. It’s been a pleasure to watch his steadfast journey with Grace over the years, and I am excited to witness their marriage bless many in the future.

Almost 7 years ago, I traveled across the country for college to meet one of my best friends and a woman who is like a sister to me, to find out she only lived half an hour away from me back home. I remember the instant bond I formed with Grace as one of my freshman roommates, us being just a couple of boba-loving SoCal girls, experiencing life on the East Coast for the first time. Through all the fun and difficult moments, from our crazy times as roommates, to our foodie adventures, to bonding over stressful classes, and to our exciting spring break trips, I have often been reminded of how blessed I am to have Grace in my life. Just as we have shared many fun adventures, I am excited to hear of the future adventures Grace will share with James and see their love for each other grow.

My name is Bao Hoang and I have been blessed with the opportunity to intersect the lives of James and Grace with my own. I met James through a dance team called Studio 3 Company during his time in Seattle. We clicked immediately and I found myself going on trips, eating dinners, grabbing drinks, attending watch parties, playing games, hosting movie nights, and always looking for the next adventure with him. Over all of those moments, I had never seen James happier than when I saw him and Grace together. I'm excited for their endeavors as newlyweds and can't wait to see what the future has to offer for this amazing couple.

Grace and I were roommates in her senior spring semester, which led to one of the most precious friendships in my life. One night, I was taking a nap around 9 PM (I know, but both our sleep schedules were so screwed up so it was fine) and woke up to Grace throwing her bed against the wall. I thought she was upset with me for napping until I realized our loud neighbor was distracting her from studying so she did the most reasonable thing and threw her bed against the wall. We wound up coming up with key talking points to discuss with our neighbor until one night, it became too much and we stomped over and gave the guy an earful - the diplomatic plan out the window. Living with Grace was truly an eventful time.

I met James on Studio 3 - a dance team that he was leading at the time when I had just moved to Seattle from Los Angeles. Although being new to the area, I quickly became good friends with him as we had many things in common from our sleep-deprived collegiate dance days to our love for painfully spicy hot sauces. Grace and James are destined complements for each other and I'm excited for how they'll grow each other as life-long partners and friends!
