Where it all began! We had our first date here on July 28, 2021 and stayed until it was time for the restaurant to close.
United States National Arboretum
3501 New York Avenue Northeast, Washington, DC 20002
One of Hannah's favorite spots in DC and the starting location for our marathon 14-hour fourth date. Christian proposed to Hannah here on March 25, 2023.
Floriana
1602 17th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20009
Where we had our second date! Highly recommend the gnocchi.
Taqueria Habanero
3710 14th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20010
Christian's favorite taco spot! The best in the city.
The Little Grand
808 7th Street Northeast, Washington, DC 20002
A hidden gem down the street from our apartment.
Bagels Etc.
2122 P Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20037
Best bagels outside of New Jersey!
Gravelly Point
Arlington, VA 22202
Located at the base of the runway at Washington National Airport—watch planes take off and land right over your head! Much more fun than it sounds. Access to a great trail along the river, too.
Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens
1550 Anacostia Avenue Northeast, Washington, DC 20019
Beautiful, secluded park with walking paths. Keep an eye out for the bald eagle who lives nearby!
Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center
14390 Air and Space Museum Parkway, Chantilly, VA 20151
Part of the National Air and Space Museum—prepare to be amazed! Highlights include the Space Shuttle Discovery, the Enola Gay, and a Concorde jet—all housed inside a massive hanger.
DC Classics
Washington, DC
The White House, the Capitol, the National Mall, the monuments, and the Smithsonian museums (free admission) live up to the hype and are not to be missed!
