The ceremony starts at 5pm so please plan to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes early so you can find your seat! Fruit infused water will be available before the ceremony. If it isn't raining, our ceremony will take place on the red brick dock area. There will be white chairs set up and folks available to help point you in the right direction. If it is raining, the ceremony will take place inside the large white tent that is on the water.
There is a large parking lot at the venue, reserved street parking, and also additional parking on the grass. There will be signs pointing you in the right direction.
After the ceremony, our coordinator will guide you to the Hall of Boats which is inside the Herreshoff Museum and across the street from where the ceremony will take place. There will be a crossing guard there to make sure everyone is able to cross safely. During the cocktail hour there will be music played, drinks served, and appetizers to be enjoyed. You will also have the opportunity to explore the historic Hall of Boats exhibits if you would like.
After the cocktail hour is finished, our coordinator will guide you to cross the street again and watch Dan and Hannah fire a small cannon! Then you will go inside the large white tent, check the seating chart for your table, and sit down at your seat. Shortly after this, speeches, dinner, drinks, and dancing will take place. :)
We ask that you please dress in semi-formal attire. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
The reception will end at 10:30pm
There won't be a formal afterparty, but Dan and Hannah will likely go to a bar downtown after the reception has concluded and all are welcome to join!
Please list any food allergies/intolerances when you RSVP online and we will ensure this information is passed along to our caterer.
