It’s a tale as old as time: boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, they get married and it’s happily ever after. That could have been our story, “if Chris didn’t creep on me while waiting in line for tacos.” Oh, cool. As two Florida-raised, mid-20s, eager-to-impress-our-boss young adults, Emily and Chris met at NBC Sports in Stamford, Conn. in that very taco line. Em says Chris swooped in even when she didn’t ask him to. Chris says all the lights dimmed aside from one solo spotlight shining upon the most beautiful blonde he’s ever laid eye upon. Tomayto, Tomahto. Starting as just newsroom flirting, Mexican food dates, and six-shots-of-Jameson hangovers, Emily and Chris quickly fell in love, moved in together, and got a pup named Doak. Why wait when you know it's a good thing? Between their shared love of Florida State, unconditional and unconventional relationship with Doak, and willingness by both parties to spend Friday nights at home tossing back takeout and binge watching the latest hit TV show, Chris and Em’s love grew so much so that they’re inviting you - their family and friends - to their wedding on Cape Cod this coming October. They’re excited to not only share this special day with everyone, but also share this special location they’ve grown to love. They look forward to seeing everyone very soon.
