We’re getting married!

The universe has a funny way of bringing people together. Our love story began at a time when we were both in a unique place in our lives. We were independently feeling adventurous, brave, and audacious. It was that strong desire for change we were both in search of, that ultimately led us to a new city and chapter in San Antonio, Texas. Like many single adults our age, we decided to try our hand at online dating with the popular app, Tinder. After matching on the app and several weeks of texting and phone conversations, we decided to go on our first date. We instantly hit it off, and after some drinks and bowling, it was quite literally love at first site! From that day on, almost every moment was spent together. On the 10th day of our spirited and impassioned relationship, we said that we loved each other. It was a life-changing moment that outweighed the fast-pace of it all. Soon after that, we had a surprise that would end up being one of the greatest blessings to ever happened to both of us—we found out that we were pregnant with Drake Lennon Pock! From that moment on, we fully committed to simply letting our life unfold just as it was always meant to, together. It took us on a wild ride that led us to temporarily relocating in Oklahoma City where Drake was born on September 27th, 2016. Exactly 1 year later, a tremendous job opportunity presented itself and we were able to relocate to Dallas, Texas to be close to some of our family. It was a transition that allowed us to finally settle into our life as a new family of 3. In November of 2017, we took a vacation to Jamaica for a friend’s wedding. It was there, in one of the most beautiful places on earth, underneath the Dunn’s River Waterfall, we got engaged! Since then we have both been building an amazing life together, raising an incredible son, and on November 16th, 2019 we will finally tie the knot. We hope you can join us in the celebration!
