Chase and Amanda’s love story began on Bumble in Illinois. At the time, Chase was stationed at Scott Air Force Base in O'Fallon, IL, while Amanda was working at a local university. Their first date was at a Mexican restaurant—an evening that set the tone for their relationship. They hit it off instantly, talking the entire night. So much so, that Chase called his mom to tell her about the amazing girl he’d just met. From that moment, they were hooked. They spent their early days together exploring the area, with Amanda just settling into town and Chase, though familiar with the area, still getting to know it better. Their favorite spots included the golf course and Cardinals games, as they enjoyed each other’s company and the simple pleasures of life. However, they did go through a tough time they refer to as “the lost months,” during which Amanda moved to Oklahoma City to pursue her dream job with USA Softball. The distance was challenging, and when Chase received overseas orders, they decided to take a break. But love is strong, and a few months later, they realized they didn’t want to be with anyone else. They chose to fight for their relationship, despite the miles between them. Though some days were tough, most were easy, knowing that they had something special. Six months later, Amanda visited Chase in South Korea, where he popped the question. Now, they are excited to start this next chapter of their lives together and can’t wait to celebrate their love and new beginnings with all of you
