“We’re getting married.”

We went on our first official date to AMF South Hills Lane on Thanksgiving night. We played a few games then we sat down for about a hour to get to know each other. The bowling alley closed at midnight so we went to our cars and stood outside and talked for about 2 more hours. People who knows me know that I do NOT like being outside so this was the moment I knew I liked his vibe 🤫

The proposal was planned really well. I must say he did really G O O D! Joshua had me thinking we were attending an event for another family member on this particular day. She graduated from UNCG on 12.9.22 so I was under the impression we were attending a graduation dinner at a nice restaurant for her. He told me that everyone was wearing all black so I needed to dress nicely. He had my makeup artist that did my makeup for our family pictures and my birthday reach out to me and say she needed a “model.” When she reached out to me saying she needed a model for Saturday and wanted me to come in at 9:30. I just agreed to it so I can help her out to build her clientele you know. I left the make up artist and came home. Tiffanie came over and got my hair together because it rained the day before and my hair was not giving what it was supposed to give. He dressed the kids in red and black (my favorite colors) 🥹🌹. We all were dressed and he receives a phone call “acting” like he is speaking to the graduate. They hang up from each other and he goes “They are not even at the restaurant yet so we’ll be good.” We are riding in the car having a normal conversation as we always do. All of a sudden we “pass” the exit going towards Durham and he blames me for talking so much as to why he missed the exit. We ended up at a park and he told me to get out. I’m like “you want me to get out and walk through the grass?” He says “just get out!!” When I got out the car, standing there was all my family and close friends. 😭♥️ Our favorite song was playing when we walked up and the rest was history! 🎶 🎤
