The Howe family went on a cruise in Spring of 2012. Megs older sister, Theresa (MOH), was deciding between two colleges, one of the options being Worcester State. On the first night of the cruise, Megs mom, Claire, found a 14 year old boy wearing a Worcester State University shirt. Claire went right up to this boy (later to be introduced as Kyle Renzulli) and he shared that he was only 14, but his older sister, Alisyn (bridesmaid) was going in the fall. The two families met and found that both lived in Massachusetts and they introduced their oldest daughters, Alisyn and Theresa, who became great friends-and ultimately ended up being roommates at Worcester State. Meg, Theresa, and Alisyn spent the cruise in the club dancing, doing karaoke, hanging by the pool, or learning dances on stage. Kyle spent the cruise crushing on his bride to be. Over the course of a decade, Meg spent time with her future sister in law whether it was visiting Theresa at WSU or going on birthday trips to Nashville! Theresa ran into Kyle for the first time in several years when she was a bridesmaid in Alisyn's wedding. Kyle inquired about the Howe family and Theresa shared that Meg was living in Springfield. Little did Theresa know, Kyle had harbored a major crush on Meg from the moment he laid eyes on her on the cruise ship. Theresa and Alisyn saw Meg later that same day, and Theresa suggested that Meg take a look at Kyle, as he "got hot". After Theresa lighting a spark (HA!) in Kyle's head about Meg, he decided to reach out to her via Instagram to wish her a happy birthday a few months after. This was the start of a whirlwind romance, and the two fell madly in love. Meg and Kyle chose to combine their homes after just a year of dating, with new decorations and upgrades-which included a shared kennel for their dogs, Cooper and Daisy. In April of 2023, Meg and Kyle went on a trip to Tampa, Florida with their friends Corey (Best man) and Abby (bridesmaid). Kyle proposed to Meg on the pier where just one year prior he had told her that he was going to marry her someday.
