Train

Rome to Naples or Salerno!

The main airport in Rome, Fiumicino (FCO), is located along the coast just outside the city. It is directly connected to a train station, making onward travel easy. The Leonardo Express is a non-stop train that runs every 15 minutes from the airport to Roma Termini, the central train station in Rome. From Roma Termini, you can catch high-speed trains to major cities throughout Italy. Our villa is located south of Naples on the coast, in the town of Sorrento. To reach it, you can take a direct train from Roma Termini to either Naples or Salerno. From either city, we recommend renting a car to drive to Sorrento. While Salerno is a slightly longer train ride from Rome, the drive to Sorrento is shorter and avoids navigating traffic in a major city, making it a more relaxed option. Travel summary:     1.    Train from FCO Airport to Roma Termini (Leonardo Express)     2.    High-speed train from Roma Termini to Naples or Salerno     3.    Rental car drive from Naples or Salerno to Sorrento The villa address is: Via Rotabile Massa Turro, 13 atCheckIn, Massa Lubrense, Campania 80061, Italy Purchasing train tickets is simple. You can buy them at self-service kiosks or customer service desks at the station, or online through the Trenitalia app or ItaliaRail website.
