Chris and Kelsey were both students of the Ramapo College class of 2015. They met in passing as freshmen, but for the remainder of their college years failed to cross paths again... That is, until their senior year, when by a strange twist of fate and a chance encounter, they discovered an undeniable connection. With their inevitable graduation looming ahead of them, they agreed they weren't ready to say goodbye. So, what did they do? They became weekend warriors, travelling two hours each way every single weekend, just to spend those precious few days together. Finally, they decided they were done with the weekend commute and got their own places, a little closer to each other. Two years later, they took the plunge and moved into their first apartment together in Chatham. Life was good, but they had big dreams. So, they saved and saved until they could buy their first home together. Finally, in 2020, smack dab in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, through sheer force of will and some strange miracle, they became homeowners! Then, when the time was right, at the crack of dawn, watching the sunrise over Lake George, Chris popped the question. The best part of all? She said YES! Now here are some fun facts: They started dating when they were 22, got engaged on the 22nd of July staying at an Airbnb address number 22. And their wedding date? March 22nd!
