Welcome to our forever

Elizabeth and Samuel originally met in 2018 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center while they were working on different floors and Lizzy got floated to Sam’s floor. Then in 2022, Lizzy and Sam were reconnected through friends. Turns out these friends had discussed that Lizzy and Sam would be a great couple previously but Sam was dating someone else. After talking for many hours online and playing Stardew Valley, Lizzy and Sam went on their first date. After EIU’s homecoming, Lizzy and Sam began dating. In April of 2023, Sam stayed the night at Lizzy’s house and never left. Lizzy knew once Sam moved his computer in he wasn’t leaving. On July 18, 2023, Lizzy and Sam went to an animal shelter to get Winston a friend and there was Finn waiting to join our family. After a few hard weeks of the dogs destroying everything in the house and two crates later everyone fit right in. On October 16, 2023, Lizzy and Sam went to the Cincinnati Zoo to see them dang ole hippos. The hippos were just perfect little babies. In November 2023, Lizzy and Sam went to Kay’s “just to look at rings” and ending up purchasing Lizzy’s engagement ring. On December 30, 2023, once again Lizzy and Sam went to Cincinnati to see those dang ole hippos, only this time they were accompanied by Tyler and Elizabeth Burch. Sam then proposed to Lizzy in front of the Fiona, Fritz, Bibi, and Tuck (the hippos) and Lizzy said “yeah, I will”. The rest of the day was spent celebrating and enjoying the zoo lights. On September 7, 2024, Lizzy and Sam will exchange their vows and celebrate their love for each other in front of all of their family and friends.
