Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is garden formal - a step above casual, but no need for tuxes or gowns. Think dressy sundresses, cocktail dresses, slacks and a blazer, or dress shirts with a little personality. Be sure to wear shoes that can handle grass!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will not be parking available at our house. We’ve arranged for parking at the Courtyard Marriott Lincoln, where a shuttle will run to and from the wedding throughout the evening. If you're staying nearby or live close, we kindly encourage you to Uber or carpool to make things easier for everyone. Thanks for your understanding!

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our celebration adults-only. We hope you’ll enjoy a night off to relax, celebrate, and dance with us! Thank you for understanding.

What kind of reception is it? Will there be a sit-down dinner?

Answer

We’re having a cocktail-style reception, which means a more relaxed, social atmosphere with passed hors d’oeuvres, taco food truck, and plenty of drinks! There won’t be a formal sit-down dinner, but there will be plenty of delicious food throughout the evening, so come hungry and ready to mingle!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, so we recommend arriving by 4:00 PM to allow time to park, shuttle, and get settled. If you're using the provided transportation from the Courtyard Marriott Lincoln, please factor in extra travel time — shuttles will be running regularly
