We were supposed to meet for our first date on a Thursday, but the snow storm changed our plans. Instead of waiting until after Rachel's weekend trip to Chicago (friend's 30th birthday), we decided to go early on Wednesday. It was Trivia Night at The Gruff in Covington- we were both VERY nervous. We met at the door, then sat down and started talking. Our waitress had to come back multiple times to take our order. We drank beer, came in last place playing trivia, then stayed an extra hour to close the restaurant down. Neither of us had school the next day because of the storm, so Eric asked to go somewhere else to grab another drink. Smoke Justis was closed, but Molly Malone's was HOPPIN'! We continued to talk, people watch, and enjoy a few more drinks. We played songs off of Eric's TouchTunes and took a tequila shot with orange slices. As we walked back to our cars, Eric took a picture with the Mr. Redlegs statue and Rachel remembers holding on to Eric's arm. In the parking lot, Rachel asked Eric if she could kiss him. He said, "of course- I was hoping you would!" We even FaceTimed after we got home (very late) that night. And...the rest is history!!!!
