Our treasure is the Yuba River, which is accessible at all the places the Hwy crosses it, plus a couple other areas https://www.bylt.org/trail/hoyt-trail/ https://www.google.com/search?q=purdon+crossing+swimming+hole&oq=purdon+cro&aqs=chrome.5.0l2j69i57j0l3.8421j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 If it’s too hot or you’re more inclined to sit and reflect, there are coffee shops and breweries- and Nevada City, just 3 miles away is charming, charming, charming. If history is your thing, we’ve got it in spades, as this was the heart of gold mining, the source of the first tech revolution in the late 19th c. If you’re interested in water and human movement of water, this is a fascinating area to explore, as well.
