We met in 2007 at Florida State University. While the timing was never right for us back then, we stayed very close throughout college. After college, Lauren moved to Washington DC and then New York. Howard made his way to Waco Texas for Graduate School and then to San Antonio to start his career. During these years living across the country from each other we managed to meet up almost every year. In early 2019, Lauren left NYC and moved to Austin TX. Thankfully, Austin and San Antonio are only about 70 miles apart. We went to the Austin Rodeo that March and it wasn't long before we realized we had found the love of our lives (It only took us almost 12 years to figure it out). Our first year together we traveled all around the world including Italy and Israel. After months of planning, Howard proposed to Lauren on her balcony in Austin Texas on May 22nd, 2020. We can't wait for this next chapter and all of the fun adventures ahead of us. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all next Labor Day weekend and make our union official.
