We met working at a wedding venue together! Kyle was a bartender and Amanda was an event coordinator. It was a crush at first sight situation!

We did a classic! Dinner at Old Chicago and a movie theatre screening of Scream 5 (where Kyle did not hold Amanda's hand or kiss her goodbye....that came 4 dates later).

Our favorite holiday is Halloween, so of course we needed to go to Fright Fest in Denver. We did our usual serenading of love songs during the car ride up from the Springs. Amanda still had no idea of the night Kyle had planned (seriously, Kyle got stopped at security and Amanda was oblivious to the situation). We ate some questionable fair food and spent way too much money on rigged carnival games! Close to the end of the night, Kyle insisted that we made time for the ferris wheel. So, we went and waited in line for about 45 minutes. The ride was beautiful and worth the wait! Night time views of the city lit up, the smell of funnel cake below, and just the two of us together! Time for the fairy tale! The Ferris wheel stopped at the top, Kyle got down on one knee, reached into his coat pocket, and then pulled out the most gorgeous ring (the very thing that set off the security alarms earlier). On one knee, Kyle asked Amanda to be his forever, to which she said, "Are you serious?!" followed by "F#@k YES!". We picked up the cheapest bottle of champagne that we could find on the way home and celebrated the start of our newest adventure together. Amanda's cheeks hurt so much from smiling all night and Kyle was relieved that he didn't drop the ring off the ferris wheel!

We can't wait to celebrate with all of you very soon! We are so excited to share our beautiful day with the ones we love the most! See you in September. <3
