It all started in Junior High, when the schools combined to bring them together. Jacob pursued Emily in 6th and 7th grades, but she was persistent, denying him anytime he showed interest. She found herself spending time with him, listening to him in class, and laughing in gym. In 7th grade, Emily said to a friend outside of Mr. Imes' classroom after Jacob walked past through the hall, "I'm going to marry him someday. I am sure of it." 8th grade rolled around, and Jacob finally got a yes from Emily to date, starting on September 22nd, 2017. They made it through high school and long-distance colleges, flying through the years, putting each other first always. Jacob proposed on March 8th, 2025, at the location where they both wish to build their house someday. June 20th, 2026, Jacob and Emily mark 8 years, 8 months, and 29 days together, with forever to go. They are so excited to share their big day with everyone who has poured into them over the years! xoxo, E&J
