What Should I Wear?

Formal Cocktail We’d love for our family and friends to dress up with us, so we’re making this a formal cocktail celebration! For gentlemen, a dress shirt and tie are perfect — a sport coat is welcome but optional. For ladies, a cocktail dress or elegant ensemble fits the bill. No jeans or sneakers, just your best-dressed selves ready to raise a glass and dance the night away. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Please see sample image above.

Where should I stay?

We have two hotel blocks reserved that are within a 2-minute walk of our venue. Please see the 'Book Your Stay' page for details.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No, transportation will not be provided. Our venue is located in the heart of downtown Des Moines, just steps away from many hotel options, making it easy to walk or arrange quick rides if needed.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to venue size and budget, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thanks for understanding!

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only evening. We hope you enjoy a night off!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30, so we suggest arriving by 4:15 to get seated and settled in.

Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors.
