From Houston's Perspective: I randomly decided to go to a music festival with a friend in Dallas in 2016 and was sitting in the Airbnb excited for the weekend to start. In walks Toria and I was immediately drawn to her. I constantly dropped hints to her friends to let her know I was interested throughout the years but never thought anything would come of it. Then Toria randomly texted me in April 2019 after my kickball beer league and the rest is history! From Toria's Perspective: I had some friends from Florida (where I went to school) come into town to go to a music festival in Dallas and figured I'd join them. I remember meeting Houston and dancing next to him during a set thinking “this guy really needs to shave his face”, but didn’t think anything of it. My friends always told me Houston asked about me and thought I was pretty. So one night out while I was out with friends, I had the liquid courage to text him “hey”. Before I knew it, he bought a flight to Dallas and the rest is history!
