A mutual family friend begged me for months to give Nolan my number (even though I had never met him) and I'm so glad I did! After 2 weeks of talking, we decided to finally meet each other in person and I instantly fell in love. Our first date lasted almost all day and our second date was the next day. It wasn't long before he asked me to be his girlfriend and we have been inseparable ever since.

One year after my first call from Nolan he asked me to marry him. We walked down by the water at Riverwalk while waiting for a table at The Pump House. I was absolutely clueless as to what was about to happen and a little upset because I was not wearing walking shoes. As we walked back towards the restaurant we stopped to look at the water. As we looked out on the river Nolan turned and told me how much he loved me, so much so that he wanted to marry me. After a moment of shock and a joyous yes I heard the sound of a camera clicking in the background. The night was celebrated with friends and family at The Pump House. A night I will never forget.
