Both the wedding ceremony and reception are at Mountain View Orchards.

Is this an outdoor wedding?

Answer

Yes, the wedding ceremony and reception will be outside in the Orchard Meadow at Mt. View Orchards in Parkdale, OR. You can anticipate a stunning view of Mount Hood and will be surrounded by beautiful apple and pear trees, and fields of flowers.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

This is a late August wedding outdoors. Temperatures can range from 70s-80s in the day cooling to the 50s overnight. Most areas are exposed to sun this time of year while the pavilion, seating area and dance floor are covered spaces.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive around 3pm. Enjoy a welcome drink and time to mingle before the ceremony begins at 3:30pm

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire: Semi-Formal - You are welcome to wear a suit or cocktail dress as well as a a tux or gown. We encourage you to wear something that makes you feel amazing for this late summer celebration. Wear shoes appropriate for grass, gravel and paved surfaces and consider the summer temperatures.
