The way Alyssa and Adam met isn't particularly unique. In fact, it's fairly common these days...a dating app, Hinge. What is unique about their story is the time they met. March 8th, 2020 to be exact. Less than a week later, on March 13th, New York City shut down due to the Covid-19 outbreak. A week later, the world shut down.  Alyssa moved from her apartment in Forest Hills back to her parents home in Kings Park. Adam packed up and third-wheeled it with his sister Dana and her now fiance Michael to House of Krause in the Poconos (if you know, you know). Adding 129 miles between Hemlock Farms and Kings Park to a global pandemic doesn't seem like the best foundation for a new relationship, but it was worth a shot. Weeks of date nights over Zoom finally led to their first in-person date in Manhattan on April 11th, 2020. Alyssa lied to her parents about it and said she was going back to Forest Hills for a few nights (sorry, Debi and Brian). A few weeks later, Alyssa made her first (of many) weekend trips to House of Krause to meet Dana and Michael. Adam received the required stamp of approval and the rest is history!
