Q: Is my child invited? A: As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults only (18+) aside from children included in the wedding party. If children are included with your invite, they will be listed on the RSVP. Q: Am I allowed a plus-one? A: As our reception venue space is very limited, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. If you have a plus one, it will be listed on the RSVP.
Q: How do I RSVP? A: Online - We are keeping the paper trail to the minimum to help streamline everything! (and to save the trees) To RSVP, please go to the RSVP tab at the top of this page. Q: What date should I RSVP by? A: Please RSVP by July 3rd. This is a hard date from our vendors. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, the link to RSVP will no longer be available and you will not be included in our headcount for seating or food arrangements.
Q: Where is the venue? A: Harrisburg, PA. See the "schedule" page for details! Q: Is there parking available? A: Yes. On weekends, on North Drive and South Drive there is Capitol building employee parking that is free, marked as "Permit Parking". There is also the option for paid street parking all around the block of the Capitol. For the Millworks, there is a parking lot and free parking on the same block near Broad Street Market.
Q: Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony? A: For the ceremony, we are asking for all guests to put their phones away and silenced. This is so all attendants can be the most present during this important time. This also allows for our photographer (that we love so dearly) to do her job as best as possible!
Q: What is the attire? A: Cocktail attire. Please be mindful of your choice of footwear as there are steps at the Capitol building and the reception dinner will be cocktail style, so seating is limited. It will be a mix and mingle style evening.
Q: What time should I arrive at the venue? A: Please arrive early, around 4pm. The ceremony will promptly begin at 4:30. You can use this time before the ceremony to take in some of the beautiful Capitol building rotunda and listen to the harpist play! Q: What time will your wedding reception end? A: Dinner at Millworks will wrap at 10pm.
Q: What type of food will be served at your wedding? A: There will be a buffet, cocktail style dinner at Millworks and we have selected a menu where all diets will be accommodated. Q: Will there be an open bar? A: Beer, wine and non alcoholic beverages will be served during dinner. Please note, the bar in the restaurant is off-limits to order at for private event guests.
