We met on the dating app Plenty Of Fish. Our first date was the typical dinner and a movie followed by a second date later that week at a local restaurant followed by a karaoke bar. But the real date we became a "couple" was our third. We took our two dogs at the time hiking and just hit it off completely. We spent the entire day together the four of us and it started our story.

Alex and I loaded up the car with the dogs and headed to one of our favorite spots for a quick hike with beautiful views, Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder, Colorado. We hadn't even hiked for ten minutes and we went over to an overlook. He set up his phone to "take a picture". He asked me to marry him with four of our five fur babies surrounding us. Of course, it's just how I would have wanted. (I totally knew it was coming, we don't take pictures haha)
