Nathan and Lauren's love story began in early 2013 when they crossed paths online. Their relationship began to grow, and just before Easter that year, Nathan made it official by asking Lauren to be his girlfriend at a friend's party. Since then, they've journeyed through life together, celebrating 11 amazing years!

Nathan had planned to propose to Lauren on Christmas Day and wanted both of our families present to celebrate with us. Nathan had been acting off and quiet the majority of the day but Lauren wasn’t sure what was wrong. As the day went by and everyone had arrived Lauren’s mother, Michelle, suggested to take family pictures in front of the Christmas tree. As we were all taking our pictures someone suggested that just Nathan and Lauren take a picture. And even though Lauren said we had already taken ours earlier her mom said she wanted more, which was very normal so Lauren didn’t suspect a thing. As Nathan and Lauren took a few pictures together and we’re finished Lauren began to walk away and Nathan grabbed her hand to pull her back. Nathan had a plan on what he was going to say but in the moment he got emotional and forgot his words. Nathan got down on one knee and proposed. Overwhelmed with joy and disbelief, Lauren said yes with happy tears and eagerly accepted the ring.
