We first met working at a summer pool. He was the manager and she was a lifeguard. What started as a summer job turned into a friendship we did not think much about at the time. Four years later, she sent a simple Instagram DM, and just like that, we were back in touch. We decided to meet up at a bar to catch up, and from that night on, everything felt different!
Ryan and Grace decided to take on a Sea Isle summer. While it was full of fun and unforgettable memories, Grace definitely had to master the art of surviving a house full of boys. Between beach days, our favorite bands, and vodka lemonades at Ocean Drive on Sunday Fundays, it quickly became a summer we’ll never forget.
Grace returned to Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania for her senior year, and Ryan and Grace took on the challenge of long distance. What could have been difficult instead showed just how strong their love was. If anything, the distance only brought them closer and reminded them how much they truly trusted and loved each other. That fall, Ryan and Grace decided to take a trip to Ireland—a trip that quickly became one of their most unforgettable adventures and their new favorite place.
Grace finally graduated from college, and Ryan and Grace couldn’t wait to start the next chapter of their lives together. From traveling to Punta Cana to Ryan moving from Manayunk to Media, they had no idea that Media would soon become such a special place in their hearts. Soon after, Ryan and Grace decided it was time to take the next big step and move into their first apartment together.
Ryan and Grace spent the year loving life in Media. There were countless times they found themselves walking down State Street—sometimes just going for a walk and somehow ending up in a local bar, watching sports games, or even walking to Trader Joe's for sweet treats. It didn’t take long for Ryan and Grace to realize this place truly felt like home. As summer got closer, Grace secretly signed both of them up for presale tickets in different countries for Taylor Swift. In the end, Ryan and Grace found themselves back in Ireland once again—this time for an unforgettable night seeing Taylor Swift together.
As summer came to an end, Ryan and Grace realized something was missing in their sweet home in Media. One day, they “just happened” to stop by a dog shelter… and of course left with their sweet girl, Nova. From that moment on, Ryan and Grace fully embraced their new roles as slightly obsessed (and maybe a little weird) dog parents. Nova has brought so much love, laughter, and chaos into their lives. She reminds them every day not to take life for granted. When they adopted her, she was already one year old and had been found on the streets of Kentucky. Now she’s living her best life—completely spoiled and very aware that she runs the house.
As much as Ryan and Grace loved their home in Media, they knew it was time for a little more space—especially a bigger home and a backyard for their sweet Nova. Soon enough, Ryan and Grace found the perfect house in Havertown, the town where they both grew up. Now they live just two minutes away from both of their parents (which honestly should not shock anyone). Since moving to Havertown, Ryan and Grace have loved every minute of it and feel so lucky to call it home.
