Laguna Beach
One of our absolute favorite spots, Laguna is stunning with lots of great things to do. Spend a few hours on the beach and then stroll through the adorable shops and cafes downtown! Everything is walkable from the beach. Go to Shaw's Cove (our favorite beach in Laguna) and then to Urth Cafe for lunch! If you're looking for a fancier meal, try out Las Brisas!
Newport Beach
Head to the beach to lay out, tan, wade in the water, and enjoy beachside CA! Want to surf? Let us know and we'll give you the best spots. Newport is a bit easier to get to than Laguna, but both are beautiful. For the quintessential surfer lunch, head to TK Burger. For a different vibe, head to one of the restaurants at Lido Marina Village. We recommend staying in Newport if you'd like your trip to be more like a vacation!
TK Burgers
There are multiple locations of TK Burgers! The Newport one is our favorite. We recommend eating your burger on the beach for optimal enjoyment.

Lido Marina Village
Really cute area to walk around and shop or grab a bite! Our fave restaurants: Zinqué, Z Pizza, and Bear Flag! (there's another Bear Flag located in Huntington, too!)
CUCINA enoteca Newport Beach
Cute Italian restaurant with a yummy menu (some traditional and some more eclectic items) and a great wine list.
Bear Flag Fish Co.
One of the Hammond family's favorites! There a few locations to choose from. This one is located in Pacific City, which also has some cool shops and other restaurants.
Fashion Island
Another shopping center, this mall is mostly outdoors, with a lovely koi pond in the middle! Our favorite shop is Buck Mason. Our fave restaurant is True Food!
True Food Kitchen
One of our favorite date spots! We love to come here for Happy Hour - our fave appetizer is the hummus.
South Coast Plaza
For those who want to get their shop on, South Coast Plaza is THE place to do so. Any brand you can think of, they have it here. People come from all over the Southwestern US to shop here! Mostly indoors, it's a great spot if the weather isn't great.
Coffee Dose (Flagship)
Absolutely irreverent coffee shop (their cups say "anti bitch serum" and their plates say "f*** mornings") serving delicious coffee drinks, bites, and cocktails. Great staff, hilarious quips all over, and great décor. They have other locations throughout Orange County but the Flagship location is the most fun.
