Multnomah Falls

Near Hood River. All Riley and I did during COVID was go on waterfall hikes. Multnomah Falls is an easy hike close to Hood River, and an iconic photo area. Requires a timed entry pass, available at recreation.gov

Dog Mountain

Near Hood River. Incredible views of the Columbia Gorge! Moderately difficult hike. Requires a parking permit for weekend dates during the summer.

Timberline Lodge

Near Hood River. A great lunch spot with great views of Mt Hood

Mt View Orchards

Near Hood River. You can't go wrong with any of the orchards near Mt Hood, but this is the one we went to on our first trip together. There are also many excellent vineyards nearby worth checking out!

Have to put a plug in for this staple of Riley and Zach's hometown, Bend, OR

International Rose Test Garden

If it is in season (and it should be) the Rose Garden is a Portland staple that is absolutely worth a look!

Powell's City of Books

Technically there are multiple locations, but the Burnside location is the multi-level maze of new and used books that is iconic.
