Do we have to wear a mask?

Answer

We are aware of several guests that may have a serious outcome if they are exposed to and contract Covid 19. If you are not fully vaccinated, we encourage you to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Even a single dosage is helpful in decreasing risks. In lieu of vaccination we ask that you get tested no more then 36 hours before the wedding and wear a mask throughout the event. Our hope is that everyone will feel comfortable and safe and we are able to offer a safe outcome for all guests.

Are masks required at large group events?

Answer

As of right now, the State of Iowa does not require wearing a mask. The CDC encourages the wearing of masks for all individual regardless of their vaccine status. We are asking all guests to consider the option of wearing a mask, whether you have been vaccinated or not. There will be disposable masks available at the door.

I am unsure if I should come to the wedding due to Covid.

Answer

We are hopeful that all invited guest will be able to attend. You were invited because we wanted you to be there to celebrate with us! We also want all guests to be safe and to not cause any exposures during the wedding. If you have not been vaccinated, please consider doing so as soon an possible for your own safety and the safety of others. Getting tested before the event is another way you can help keep everyone safe. Also, if unsure, it is always better to ere on the side of safety and wear a mask. If you do not feel well and are experiencing ANY symptoms, please do not attend the wedding. We would certainly miss you but appreciate the consideration. We are looking forward to a loving and fun event!
