FAQs

We are nothing if not thorough! Hopefully this answers a majority of your questions, however if you are still looking for answers please contact jacobtheelephant01@gmail.com
Question

Do we need to be Catholic to attend the Ceremony?

Answer

No! All faiths and denominations will be welcome to attend the ceremony and celebrate with us. However, we do ask that if you are not Catholic please refrain from partaking in communion; you are welcome to receive a blessing though!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We will be starting the ceremony promptly at 2 PM, but we will keep the chapel open beginning at 1 for anyone wishing to come early to pray. As the chapel will be used for prayer, we ask anyone who arrives early to maintain a quiet atmosphere inside the chapel out of respect.

Question

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 15th to allow us the most time to be able to prepare for you!

Question

Do I get a plus-one?

Answer

Your RSVP is preprepared for the number of people we anticipate in your party, based on conversations and save the date forms. If you believe we have made a mistake, please reach out to Jacob Horton at jacobtheelephant01@gmail.com

Question

What attire should we wear?

Answer

Please dress in semi-formal attire, appropriate for December weather!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

While both the wedding ceremony and the reception will be indoors, the space connecting the two buildings is outdoors without covering. We will equip young distinguished gentlement with umbrellas should the need arise, but please check the weather for the day as you prepare for the event!

Question

What colors should I wear?

Answer

Our colors are gold and navy blue. The couple has asked specific people to dress in these colors, so if you have not been asked by them please refrain from wearing largely gold or navy blue patterns. (Also, please dont wear white!)

Question

Will alcohol be served at the wedding?

Answer

No, and in order to keep our deposit we ask that you refrain from bringing your own as well. However, we will have plenty of refreshments from lemonade to hot chocolate as fun sips throughout the evening!
