What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony begins at 5:00 PM. Please plan for NYC traffic.

How do I get to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

There are many options including: 1. Take an Uber or a Taxi - Approximately 10 minutes from Aloft LIC (please plan for traffic). 2. Take the Subway - Take the (7) train from Queensboro Plaza to Vernon Boulevard- Jackson Avenue (heading towards Manhattan); It will be a 10 minute walk to Gantry Plaza State Park from the subway stop.  Total travel time is approximately 25 minutes (please plan for delays). 3. Drive - We have arranged for Valet Parking at The Gantry Loft which is a 7-10 minute walk from the ceremony site.  Please plan for traffic and allow time for parking/ walking over.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Valet parking is available at the reception venue, The Gantry Loft. The ceremony site is a short 2 minute walk from the reception venue.

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

The reception venue (The Gantry Loft) is a short 7-10 minute walk from the ceremony site (Gantry Plaza State Park). We will all walk over together once the ceremony concludes.

What transportation is provided?

Transportation will be provided from the reception to the after party at The Beast Next Door (around the corner from Aloft LIC). There will be a second stop made at the hotel for those who are lame.

Is there parking at the hotel?

Answer

Aloft Long Island City offers Valet Parking for $50 per day.  Alternatively, there are a number of parking garages nearby.  The closest is MTP - Queens Plaza South located at 27-03 42nd Road, Long Island City. The rate at this garage is $13.00 per day or $26.00 for 24 hours (plus tax). We don't work at either garage, so rates are of course subject to change. ;)
