FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Horton and Michael Pantos
Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to the Conservatory for convenience. For those who prefer to drive, the Conservatory’s offers free parking in their lot, which has an on-site attendant.

Question

Day of Travel

Answer

Please note The Festival of Lights will also take place on our wedding day. Festivities kick off at 11:00 a.m. and wrap up with the largest nighttime parade in the United States, which travels down North Michigan Avenue from Oak Street to Wacker Drive. If you were planning to hit the Mag Mile for some shopping in the morning, getting in and out of the area could be a challenge, please plan accordingly.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal Attire. While the weather in Chicago may be chilly, the Conservatory is warm year around! Layers are great for the walk in and out, but the inside, you’ll be nice and cozy. Please note that while most of the venue is paved, the short path leading to the entrance is not, so we recommend selecting shoes accordingly.

Question

Garfield Park Conservatory

Answer

The conservatory is open to the public until 5pm, please plan to arrive just after they close - 5:00-5:10 arrival is perfect!
